Caracterización diagenètica de la Formación La Luna, en la sección de la Quebrada Chiriría, Estado Táchira, Venezuela

Abstract

La Luna Formation in the Quebrada Chiriría section is constituted by calcareous shales and limestones of dark colors with siliceous and phosphatic intervals. This paper is based on a diagenetic study of thin sections (196) through microscope of polarized light supported by electronic microscopy (BSE, SE) and geochemical tools (CaC03, COT, 5I80, <5I3C and elementary relationships)
