El objetivo de la presente investigación es describir
la frecuencia y distribución de comportamientos, actitudes
y conocimientos acerca de los métodos anticonceptivos
y su relación con conductas de riesgo de trasmisión
de enfermedades. Para ello se evaluó una muestra constituida
por 483 jóvenes de diferentes niveles de escolarización,
con edades comprendidas entre 14 y 20 años, a los
que se administró un cuestionario que recoge información
acerca de su nivel de conocimientos sobre anticoncepción,
sus actitudes hacia la utilización de estos métodos y posibles
comportamientos de riesgo. Los resultados ponen de
manifiesto la necesidad de llevar a cabo una acción formativa
más rigurosa en todos los niveles de edad con la finalidad
de contrarrestar la información distorsionada o incompleta
que les llega del entorno más inmediato.
The objective of the present investigation is to
describe the frequency and distribution of behaviors, attitudes
and knowledge about the contraceptive methods and
its relationship with behaviors of risk of transmission of illnesses.
For it was evaluated it a sample constituted by 483
youths of different escolarización levels, with ages understood
between 14 and 20 years, to those that a questionnaire
was administered that it picks up information
about its level of knowledge it has more than enough contraception,
its attitudes toward the use of these methods
and possible behaviors of risk. The results show the necessity
to carry out a more rigorous formative action in all the
age levels with the purpose of counteracting the distorted
information or incomplete that they receive it of the most
immediate environment.
