En este trabajo estudiamos el perfil sociológico del alumno de 1° de Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Huelva en el curso 1994-95, analizamos las ideas previas con las que llegan los alumnos de primer curso de Trabajo Social sobre la elección de estos estudios, las funciones del trabajo social, la importancia para la sociedad del trabajo social y de otras profesiones, las cualidades que debe tener un trabajador social, etc. Finalmente llegamos a conclusiones de carácter operativo para la docencia.
In this work we study the sociological profile of the first-year student of Social Work in the University of Huelva in 1994-95 academic year. We analyse the previous ideas which the first-year students of Social Work come with about the choice of these university studies, the importance for the society of social work and other jobs, the characteristics that a social worker must have, etc. Finally, we come to conclusions of operational nature for teachers.
