Los profundos cambios que ha engendrado este siglo que acaba han tenido un reflejo especial en la enseñanza. Los retazos de la historia han dejado especial huella en los estilos y maneras de educar. Maestros y profesores han ido marcando una estela llena de soplos de vida que caracterizaron épocas y personas. Los medios y los recursos didácticos han ido, también, al compás de los tiempos, apuntalando nuevas estrategias para esa siempre apasionante aventura del enseñar y aprender. El autor de este trabajo, historiador consagrado y educador nato, nos deja constancia de algunos de esos cambios, con instantáneas de un pasado que nos ayuda a comprender mejor nuestro presente y, por qué no, también ese futuro incierto y lleno de esperanzas que nos aguarda en los umbrales de este nuevo milenio.
The profound changes that this last century has engendered have had a special reflection on education. The remnants of history have left a special mark on the styles and ways of educating. School teachers and professors have been marking a wake full of breaths of life that characterized times and people. The means and the didactic resources have gone, also, to the compass of the times, propping up new strategies for that always exciting adventure of teaching and learning. The author of this work, consecrated historian and born educator, leaves us record of some of those changes, with snapshots of a past that helps us to better understand our present and, why not, also that uncertain future full of hopes wich we await on the threshold of this new millennium.
