Servitude humanie et communaté divine dans la tragédie grecque

Abstract

La idea de la dependencia en la tragedia griega sólo puede ser definida a partir de múltiples aspectos. El que la dependencia divina sea uno de estos aspectos implica una aproximación bidimensional: por un lado, el estudio de las relaciones que el ser humano desarrolla con el elemento divino, por otro, las relaciones desarrolladas por los dioses entre ellos mismos. Tanto la comunidad humana como la divina, fundadas ambas en un sistema jerárquico y de dependencia que evoca las relaciones dueño-esclavo, se organizan a menudo a partir de modelos comunes. El propósito de la autora es estudiar la manera por la cual estas dos comunidades se entrecruzan a este nivel, y a partir de ahí averiguar el sentido de la sumisión trágica. Al estar fundada sobre lasevas, laphilia, la therapeia, la cha fis, y la cooperación, la servidumbre metafórica de los humanos parece en ocasiones reproducir el modelo de la dependencia divina: es el caso, por ejemplo, de los agentes cultuales. Al seguir de este modo las convenciones trágicas, el hombre, que depende de su destino y de la voluntad divina, es un esclavo permanente. Estas mismas relaciones de dependencia establecidas a partir de un modelo de dulzura vuelven a aparecer en el contexto realista de la servidumbre doméstica. En este contexto, la oposición formada por la pareja antitética dueño-esclavo parece estar atenuada por la civilización de las costumbres. Esta relación idealizada y construida a la imagen de aquella que se considera que el hombre establece con la autoridad suprema del ser divino, parece superponerse a la realidad esclavista: una realidad sobre la cual los trágicos se interrogan por vías metafóricas e indirectas.

The idea of dependence on Greek tragedy can only be defined from multiple aspects. The fact that divine dependence is one of these aspects implies a bidimensional approach: on one hand, the study of the relationships that human beings develop with the divine element, on the other hand, the relationships developed by the gods among themselves. Both, the human and the divine community, are founded on a hierarchical and dependence system that evokes the owner-slave relationships, they are often organized from common models. The purpose of the author is to study the way in which these two communities intersect at this level, and from there to find out the meaning of tragic submission. Because it is founded on lasevas, laphilia, therapeia, cha fis, and the cooperation, the metaphorical human servitude seems to reproduce the divine dependence model. It is the case, for example of cultic agents. By following in this way, the tragic conventions, the man, that depends on his destiny and the divine will, is a permanent slave. These same relations of established dependence from a model of sweetness reappear in the realistic context of domestic servitude. In this context, the opposition formed by the antithetical couple owner-slave seems to be lessened by the civilization of customs. This idealised relationship built to the image of that which is considered to be established by man with the supreme authority of a divine being, seems to superimpose itself to the reality of slavery: a reality on which the tragic question themselves through metaphorical and indirect ways.
