El hibridismo genérico en la Quinta de Laura de Castillo Solórzano, I : la impronta bizantina

Abstract

Con la publicación en 1613 de Las novelas ejemplares de Cervantes se inaugura en la literatura española un nuevo paradigma narrativo: la novela cortesana. Esta fórmula novelística, cultivada profusamente por los escritores del siglo XVII, supone una evolución en el desarrollo de la novela, caracterizada substancialmente por la confluencia en los relatos de rasgos innovadores, por un lado, y motivos procedentes de otras tendencias novelísticas ya vigentes en nuestra literatura, por otro. En este crisol convergente e integrador descuella un modelo, el dechado bizantino. El motivo de este artículo es el análisis de la simbiosis narrativa en la novela cortesana, con especial atención a la tendencia bizantina, en la última colección de novelas de Alonso de Castillo Solórzano, La quinta de Laura, obra colofón de su producción y muestra singular del hibridismo preponderante en el reciente género cortesano.________________________When Las novelas ejemplares written by Cervantes were published in 1613, a new narrative archetype appears in the Spanish literature: the courtly novel. This fantastic style, profusely cultivated by writers during seventeen century, means a development in the novel, substantially characterized, on the one hand, by the confluence of innovative features in the stories and, on the other hand, by devices, which come from other novelistic tendencies in our literature. A new style is outstanding at this convergent melting pot: the Byzantine archetype. The matter of this article is to carry out a study on narrative symbiosis in the courtly novel, with special attention to the Byzantine arquetype, in La quinta de Laura, the last novel collection written by Alonso de Castillo Solórzano, and a special example of symbiosis in the recent courtly genre.
