Los menonitas son un grupo minoritario que
ha migrado desde el centro de Europa a
distintas partes del mundo, buscando la
preservación de sus principios religiosos y
sus valores culturales. En esta investigación
se aborda la comunidad menonita asentada
en el noroeste de México desde los años
veinte del siglo pasado. Este grupo
conservador convive con la cultura de la
región manteniendo los principales rasgos de
su identidad cultural como la lengua, el
vestuario y los valores religiosos.
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el uso
de herramientas de comunicación alternativa
que surgen con la finalidad de preservar su
historia y su identidad cultural.
Mennonites are a minority group that has
migrated from central Europe to different
parts of the world, seeking to preserve their
religious principles and cultural values. This
research focuses on the Mennonite
community settled in northwestern Mexico
since the 1920s. This conservative group
coexists with the culture of the region,
maintaining the main features of its cultural
identity such as language, clothing, and
religious values.
The aim of this paper is to analyze the use of
alternative communication tools that emerge
with the aim of preserving their history and
cultural identity.
