Antonio León Ortega: su primera etapa como escultor en Huelva 1938-1941

Abstract

Entre los años 1938 y 1941 el escultor Antonio León Ortega realizó una serie de imágenes en el taller de la calle San Cristóbal de Huelva, donde trabajaba el pintor Joaquín Gómez del Castillo. Estas imágenes fueron esculpidas por León Ortega mientras que Gómez del Castillo las policromaba y firmaba, atribuyéndose la autoría completa de todas las obras realizadas en dicho periodo

Between 1938 and 1941 the sculptor Antonio León Ortega made several works of art in the studio where the painter Joaquín Gómez del Castillo worked. These sculptures were created by León Ortega while Gómez del Castillo painted and signed them, attributing the complete authorship of all works made in that period
