El Rasillo intramountainous basin, with 300 m of minimun thickness of Oligocene-Miocene alluvial sediments, is located in Cameros Mesozoic Unit and next to La Demandai Paleozoic Unit. The sedimentological analysis of the sedimentary rocks allows us to make out four alluvial systems, coming from different source areas during the filling of this basin. No features of synsedimentary tectonics have been found, suggesting that the main allocyclic control, of these alluvial systems was the climateen_US
