Palma de Mallorca cathedral (Spain) is built with four types of carbonate rocks (one limestone, one dolomitic limestone and two dolomites). The forms and degree of degradation of these stones depend on their petrophysical characteristics as well as its situation In the monument. Weathering agents affect in different ways the façades of the cathedral, bringing on to a selective deterioration of the monumenten_US
