abstract = {Se plantea una evolución protohistórica del puerto atlántico de Huelva coherente con el registro arqueológico
de los últimos años. Para establecer su relación con otras zonas del Suroeste peninsular se revisan antiguas
hipótesis y líneas de trabajo ampliamente conocidas por la investigación y, finalmente, se comparan
hallazgos occidentales con la evolución histórica del Próximo Oriente en general, para estimar que las relaciones
oriente-occidente se produjeron en tres fases principales sucesivas y de larga duración desde el siglo
XIVa.C. hasta las primeras importaciones fenicias en el Puerto de Huelva en el siglo IX a.C.},
abstract = {Having in mind previous and ultimate archaeological finds obtained in Huelva a protohistorial evolucition of
the atlantic port is explained. To establish the possible connections with other areas from the South West of
the Iberian Peninsula former hypohtesis and currently lines of research are revised. Finely confronting historical
evolution of levantine merchants in the East, their connection with the Iberían Peninsula through threes
sucesive but long term fases as from the 14thcentury to the firts arrival of phoenicians in the 9th century at
Huelva are hereby explicated.},
