abstract = {La curiosidad y el interés por cosas nuevas son aspectos que caracterizan a los niños desde su nacimiento. Su deseo de descubrir, conocer y aprender les estimula a indagar constantemente en su interacción con el entorno. En este sentido, la necesidad de novedad podría ser una necesidad psicológica básica, innata y presente en todos los individuos, cuya satisfacción se asociaría con un correcto desarrollo y funcionamiento, llevando al bienestar y al florecimiento humano. Desde el ámbito de la educación, la actividad física y el deporte, es necesario crear escenarios que satisfagan óptimamente la necesidad de novedad de las personas, logrando consecuencias positivas. Un adecuado desarrollo emocional que incluya las dosis correctas de novedad, nos permitirá fomentar la motivación y el compromiso con las actividades, contribuyendo a lograr el bienestar y la felicidad.},

Their desire to discover, know and learn motivates them to constantly inquire into their interaction with their environment. In this sense, the need for novelty may seem a basic, and innate psychological need present in all individuals, whose satisfaction would be associated with proper development and functioning, leading to well-being and the human flourishing. From the educational aspect, physical activity and sports, it is necessary to create settings that optimally satisfy the need for novelty in people, achieving positive consequences. A properly emotional development that includes the right dosages of novelty, will allow us to promote motivation and compromise to activities, contributing to achieve well-being and happiness.},
