abstract = {El objetivo del presente estudio fue examinarlas diferencias y similitudes entre adolescentes con trastorno de ansiedad social y otros con otras psicopatologías y sin psicopatologías. Para ello, se evaluó a una muestra de 1,012 jóvenes españoles (de 13 a 19 años), en su entorno escolar, mediante una serie de instrumentos que miden aspectos demográficos, trastorno de ansiedad social, competencias psicosociales y distintos problemas clínicos. Los tres grupos fueron establecidos en función de criterios cuantitativos relacionados con las pruebas de evaluación. Los resultados mostraron diferencias significativas entre los tres grupos en parte de las variables demográficas y competencias psicosociales. Los dos grupos psicopatológicos puntuaron significativamente más alto que el grupo normal en todos los índices clínicos, salvo en la escala de histeria del MMPI-A. abstract = {The aim of this study was to examine the differences and similitudes between social anxiety disorder adolescents and others with and without psychopathologies. A sample of 1,012 Spanish youth (13-19 ages) was evaluated at school, measuring demographic aspects, social anxiety, psychosocial competences and distinct clinical problems through different instruments. The three groups were established concerning of quantitative críteríons related with the assessment tests. The results showed significance differences between the three groups in some demographic variables and psychosocial competences. The two psychopathological groups punctuated significantly, more high than the normal one, in all the clinical indexes, except in the MMPI-A Hysteria scale. The social anxiety group had a significantly worse level than the rest in all the indexes related with social interaction. The group with other psychopathologies overcame the social anxiety one in the majority of YSR/11-18 indexes and in five of the MMPI-A indexes. It concludes that the two psychopathological groups present a certain similitude, because the differences between them were smaller than differences with normal subjects},
