Abstract
The Cameros basin (Iberian Chain) developed under a very subsident extensional regime during the latest Jurassic-early Cretaceous. Its fill constitutes a magasequence o f more than 5000 m of vertical thickness. That would produce a gravity low. Nevertheless, the gravity map of this area draws a gravity high in the eastern part of the basin. We propose an explanation to this contradiction
