Aspectos organizativos y didácticos de la enseñanza elemental en Huelva durante el período de 1857 a 1900

Abstract

La presente tesis representa el primer estudio realizado sobre la Educación Primaria en la ciudad de Huelva durante el siglo XIX. La investigación se desarrolla desde 1857 hasta 1900, aunque necesariamente, se realizan incursiones antes y después de ese período. Los temas que se tratan son los referentes a la administración educativa, a los maestros, a las escuelas y a los alumnos teniendo como marco de referencia el contexto social, cultural, económico y político de la ciudad de Huelva. Hay que señalar que en esta investigación existe un apartado preferente, y al que más atención se le ha dedicado; nos estamos refiriendo al curriculum que se desarrolla en las escuelas de la ciudad. Para terminar decir que esta tesis pretende situar la génesis y desarrollo inicial de la institucionalización de la Enseñanza Primaria en Huelva.--------------------This thesis is the first study carried out on the Primary Education in the city of Huelva during 19th Century. The investigation has been developing since 1857 until 1900, although incursions are made before and after of that period necessarily. The educative administration, teachers, schools, social, economic and politic context are the topics treat in this project. In an important way, we should indicate that there is an aim apart in which we pay more attention in this investigation, we are referred to curriculum what is developed in the schools of this city. We finish saying that this thesis intends to situate the genesis and initial development of the institutionalization of Primary Education in Huelva.
